About AMW ICT Centre

AMW ICT Centre, strategically positioned at NO 6 Kalambaina Road, Arkilla Area, Sokoto, stands as a technological cornerstone in the region. Established in 2018, the center boasts two halls, each equipped with 250 thin client computer systems, two servers, CCTV cameras, a conference hall accommodating 120 persons, a standby generator and inverter, spacious parking facilities, and robust security measures. Notably, the center earned distinction as the chosen venue for the 2019 JAMB Examination.

The AMW ICT Centre, established by Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, has the capacity to accommodate five hundred people at a time. It will be used for computer training and serve as an examination center for (JAMB). The aim is to empower youth by providing computer training to both primary and secondary school teachers, as well as students, enhancing their knowledge of Information and Communication Technology.
